The Lucy Cavendish College Student Union (LCCSU) is here to provide a range of social activities, student services, and to represent both undergraduate and graduate students to the College.
Check back frequently to find out what we’ve been up to, what events are coming up, and ways to get in touch with your committee!
In Lent Term 2022, Lucy students voted to split the SU into a JCR and MCR, to best represent the interests of undergraduate and postgraduate students respectively.
We represent Lucy students on various College committees and in dealings with the College. Specifically, the Council Meeting, the Governing body meeting and weekly meetings with the Senior Tutor.
We organise, provide, and facilitate events on behalf of Lucy students and support student sports teams and societies. We distribute the finance for events, societies and clubs organised by the students.
We offer support and advice to students in need. Members of our committee are happy to take time to offer advice and, when appropriate, can refer to assistance at the College and University. We also aim to advocate for your needs so please get in touch if you see something that can be improved to support College life.
Do you have any amazing event in mind that you want to see in the college? Is there any topic that you find underrepresented? Do you have any concerns or issue with anything particular in terms of the life in the college?
