The Lucy bar is normally run by students, for students, and is a real hub of college life. This year it will be arranged and waited by the formal college catering staff due to Health and safety requirements.
The bar is open from next Tuesday 6th October
Tuesday 7- 9.30 pm
Thursday 7- 9.30 pm
Friday 7- 9.30 pm
Students can sit at tables set out for social distancing for half an hour or take drinks away .
Job offers cancelled for 2020/21
Working in the bar is a great opportunity to be at the centre of Lucy life and make some ££ whilst having fun!
Here’s how it works:
We can only have 12 people on the payroll at any given time. Quite a few freshers have expressed an interest to work in the bar which is great, but slots are first come, first served, so be quick!
We ask that you commit to working three shifts per term, with the exception of Exam (Easter) term;
When there are bops (such as this Friday!) we’re open until 2am usually, as we have a later licence, and we divide that into two shifts.
Pay is £8.21 an hour and you need to have a National Insurance Number in order to be able to work;
You have to attend training before you can start, with both the Domestic Bursar and me – this is quick and painless, promise!
